Nestled amongst vines and prune orchards very close to the village of Saint-Sernin in north Lot-et-Garonne, this well presented self contained studio gîte is perfect for couples and romantic retreats. Peace and tranquillity are guaranteed where you can spend time relaxing by the pool which is just 10 steps from the gîte door! It's located only a 10 minute drive to beautiful Duras with its château and 20 minute drive from the popular bastide town of Eymet, both of these towns have popular restaurants and bars. The larger town of Sainte-Foy-la-Grande on the Dordogne river is a 20 minute drive where you will find plenty of larger supermarkets, restaurants, cafés and bars along with water activities such as kayaking and canoeing based on the river.

It's a lovely place to just relax and unwind, but it's also great as a base to venture east into the Dordogne to visit places like Issigeac, Monpazier, Beynac and La Roque-Gageac, or head more locally towards the vineyards of Bergerac, Duras and the city of Bordeaux, with the world famous Saint-Émilion wine region also well worth a visit.

All around you will find colourful daytime markets all year round and the atmospheric evening markets during July and August with their many stalls selling mouth-watering food. For those of you who fancy a round of golf, Château des Vigiers, a fantastic 27 hole golf course is around a 15 minute drive.
